Well, the Devils have a hell of a start in the NHL : not for their opponents, for them.
No doubt, things are to bright up as they come home to their brand new arena, though, for their first game there, they lost again, to Ottawa.
At least, they know in whose hell they live. Is general manager Lou Lamoriello a masochist, a megalomaniac, an idiot ?
His team was no doubt sailing too smoothly to his rough taste when he decided to rock the boat shortly before the playoffs started last year and fired coach Claude Julien whose polished and self-spoken style he could no longer stand -unless he was guilty of taking the spotlight away from him ?-.
Since then, the Devils have no doubt improved their records. How many game shave they played, how many have they won ? Statisticians are welcome to let us know.
And Claude Julien is forbidden to smile in nearly heavenly Boston, but he is too well educated to do so and probably expects his new season to end as abruptly as the two previous ones.
