Baseball : New York's Real.

Many marvel at the New York Yankees' record under Joe Torre : 12 straight seasons with a playoff berth.

Sure, but add the payrolls of Indians, Rockies and Diamondbacks, who were still busy pitching and hitting while Yankees were already -and again- driving and putting, and you will still come up short of the NY club figure.

Would the Real Madrid "socios" marvel at never finishing worse than 5th in "La Liga"? In the past 12 years, they would have had ample time to hire, fire and re-hire Torre a dozen times.

Maybe Torre should apply for the coach position in Madrid: Schuster has already been around a few months, it should soon be time to show him the door.
