LNH/NHL : no kidding...

"The Globe and Mail" recently published a Canadian Press scoop : a study "found that the league achieved its goal of having more games end in overtime by awarding a point to losers in the extra session", but "seeing more games going into overtime" was "an unintended consequence of that rule change".

Who says so ? A Guelf University professor, no less.

Indeed, who could have guessed that the games ending in overtime would no longer end in regulation time...?
