NHL : arrogance or blindness ?

It is a bit ominous for the future that, after losing their series 4-1 against the Flyers, most of the Habs, including Carbonneau, claim they were the better team on ice.

Maybe they should watch a few soccer videos during the summer.

There, it has been known for years that shooting is not scoring and ball possession is not winning.

It has also been known for a long time that certain teams do not mind giving their opponent the -apparent- control of the game.

The Habs all claim they now understand how different the playoffs are from the regular season. Then, they should understand that the same shot that scored during the regular season shall often not score during the series.

The regular season is like a national championship, the series like the Champions' League: even Manchester United eventually understood it could not afford to play against Barcelona as if it were Bolton.
