The day before the Mitchell report came out, Greg Zaun, of the Toronto Blue Jays, did not see the point : why would the League bad mouth some of its beloved players ? It would be like shooting oneself in the foot: some fans might get upset at the doping revelations, some repurations might remain tarnished for ever.
What a shame, what a waste.
The day after, it turned out Greg Zaun was among the players incriminated by the report.
We can relate to his understandable anger : how come the League did not, once more, bury its neck in the sand ? how did they dare give away names ? how did they dare point to cheats like him ?
Greg Zaun sure must have felt let down.
