NHL : the Pondichery Habs.

Imagine a Montréal "hab" in Pondichery, India.

Imagine him running into a book fair, then coming face to face with a second hand paperback about the... Habs : a collection of interviews with players of the 50s and 60s.

Unlikely maybe, but true and somehow making sense :

Ice hockey may not be big in India (but is ice hockey big in Tampa Bay?), but "grass" hockey is (though INdia failed for the first time to qualify for the Olympics).

The French lost Canada to the British, they also lost India to the British, with a couple of exceptions, Pondichery being the major one : Pondichery is India's Montréal.
